How to Register for Classes

Class registration is held 5 times a year, with the exception of Puppy Pre-School (9 to 16 week old puppies), that start on a rotational basis due to the restricted ages of puppies permitted to attend, and according to demand.

We accept reservations by telephone about a month before the next set of classes start, although we welcome questions and calls about our classes, and about dogs at any time. When you have reserved a spot in a class, the next day you can go to The Dog House and fill out an application, pay for your class via cash, cheque, debit card, or credit card, then receive a receipt that informs you of what is required for your class OR call The Dog House and have them register you by phone with your credit card. To save time, you can print and fill out a Website Application form for classes or, type in the information required on a computer oriented application, and forward a cheque via mail to K-9 Studio, 575 N. Court St., Thunder Bay, ON P7A 4Y5 or drop it off at the Dog House once you have confirmed a day and time for your class. If your email address is provided, a receipt with instructions will be emailed to you. 

When you call and reserve a spot in a class over the phone, you are given a limited time to register for this class. The deadline is the following Saturday, from when you called. If you call Monday to Wednesday, you must register by the following Saturday. If you call later than Wednesday, you have till the next Saturday - an extra week. This way, you won't forget to go to the Dog House and take care of it. With such a demand for classes, we have been filling these past due class positions with a very demanding waiting list. Sorry for any inconvenience, but we are trying to offer the best service in our city, with the highest quality of classes, and keeping a limit in each class to ensure a great  quiet, one class at a time environment.

Call us at 623-2433, and if we are unable to take your call, leave us a message, and it will be returned as promptly as possible. If for some reason you are unable to leave a message, call The Dog House at 622-5228 and they will forward your message to us.
